Man if you did not
go to the Oklahoma 100 at the Other side
club in Tulsa, Ok., and support the
local talent, well shit shame on you.
There where a lot of folks there showing
their shit and they should have had a
full house to do it in. I’m not saying
there wasn’t a good crowd; yes there was
a nice size crowd. But damn man this
shit should have been standing room
only. People around Oklahoma are always
talking shit about how there isn’t
anything to do. Well the hosts of this
gig came all the way from Ohio, to put
this shit on, and put on they did, put
we (Oklahoma) should have put on too.
Shit man I’m a old
mother, and I remember visiting family
in other states and having to put up
with that “do people still ride horses
in Oklahoma” shit. Well yeah we do (and
there’s nothing wrong with that) but
damn man can we at least make being
country cool, and we can start by
supporting local talent without the shit
being FREE and when it is FREE, dumb
asses want to fight. If you want to see
the A-list shit, and not have to drive
your ass to Dallas to see it then we
have to show that we can support the
shit, and we can show that by supporting
the local talent.
Alright, now that
I’ve gotten that off my chest, let me
get to the people who I’m fuckin in awe
of, and that’s Gorilla Productions. Man
I’m going to tell you straight up I
didn’t believe the shit when they first
sent out their flyers. I’d never heard
of them, nobody was talking about the
place where the event was going to be
held, and then they weren’t asking for
money. You believe that shit, they did
not want money up front, no fucking way.
Hey they send you a bundle of tickets,
you sell what you can sell, bring them
and the cash to the event, and that
determines what time you go on. That
fucking simple. Why the hell haven’t I
thought of this shit, guess that’s why
I’m a broke bastard.
Even if you don’t
sell a ticket just show your ass up and
you get a spot on stage, and if that
wasn’t enough, shit man they give you a
cut of whatever you sell, ah did you
hear that you get back money, shit I
know this is starting to sound like a
fucking commercial but hey man, my hat
is off to these people. They are
organized, organized, organized, and
organized. The shit ran on time, the
shit was safe, and damn you could even
buy a beer in that bitch, and did I
mention the shit was SAFE, man what more
could you ask for. So I giving a BIG TEN
stars out of FIVE to Gorilla
Productions, and hell NO I’m not doing a
commercial for their asses I’m just
testifying to what I know.
Now to the show,
it was damn good, damn good, I’m not
going to say off the chain, pitbull
biting you in the ass good, but it was
good. There is a lot of talent in
Oklahoma besides Polo, and Prez trap
house, that deserve to be supported not
starting no shit, I’m just saying there
are a lot of brothers, and sisters who
have their shit together, and are hungry
for the next step. There were all types
of STYLES on display, and it just shows
that Rap is alive and well and well
represented in Oklahoma. I shot a little
video of most of the acts that were on
stage, so give me a minute and I’ll get
that shit posted up. I wasn’t able to
get the names of everyone or video the
whole thing but I think you can get an
ideal of what your bitch ass missed if
you were not there. Alright that’s it
for me.
Love ya, and keep
it safe.
Pops.
